In Honour Of Yewande Ajoke Fasanya!

Hi friends! This blog post is in honour of Yewande Ajoke Fasanya, a beloved sister, wife, mother, daughter, colleague and friend to many, who passed away on Friday 22nd of August 2014 at the tender age of 35. Yewande, your three beautiful boys will not be privileged to know you as we do but your memory remains! We love you but God loves you more! Rest in his bosom till we meet to part no more!

This post is actually an introduction to the series I will be dwelling on in the new month. I titled it : Mind Your Language! According to one of the definitions in the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary, LANGUAGE simply means 'the system of words or signs that people use to express thoughts and feelings to each other...' I think this definition is just adequate for the purpose of my post.

Guess you are curious as to where this is leading to? You will just have to hold on till my next post! I have decided (from now on) to keep my posts brief and impactful because I respect your time so much! I want you to be able to pay a quick visit to my blog and yet still be able to grasp something significant before moving on! In the meantime, please meditate on the keywords in the above definition - 'system', 'words', 'signs', 'express', 'feelings', 'thoughts' and 'each other'!

Till my next post, make your life count; leave your footprints on the sands of time! Adieu, Yewande Ajoke Fasanya! God will keep and uphold those you left behind. It is well with you, Seyi! Goodnight, Wendy!
